  1. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  2. A: I would like to work with Dua Lipa. I just did a bass remix of Don't Start Now. I like the way she digs in.

  3. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  4. A: I like my remixes. They demonstrate both my playing ability & my writing skills.

  5. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  6. A: Recording a bass track for a sync musician.

  7. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  8. A: I am an analog romantic but I currently work in digital like most produces today.

  9. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  10. A: You'll love it!

  11. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  12. A: Doing what I love to do - compose and play music.

  13. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  14. A: I am here to serve your production goals. Email me. It's quite easy to get this done.

  15. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  17. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  18. A: Been playing all my life but focusing on the bass at the moment.

  19. Q: How would you describe your style?

  20. A: Jazz loose and Funk tight.

  21. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  22. A: You can do a lot in a DAW. There is no need to be a perfectionist in production but it helps.

  23. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  24. A: Pop music from the 1960s to the present. I am currently writing for current stuff mostly.

  25. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  26. A: Coming up with bass parts.

  27. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  28. A: My own vibe. I connect with the vocals, the lyrics, and the drums to really get in the groove of the song.

  29. Q: What's your typical work process?

  30. A: I will analyze the sheet music, write a bass part, record, edit, and mix it in one day.

  31. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  32. A: My bass collection includes a Fender Jazz, a Rickenbacker, & a Hofner violin bass. I record through Zoom L-8 into Garageband on ipad.  I edit & mix in Studio One. I use a DI box, amp sims, plugins, and pedals. I notate in Musescore for written parts. I have a bunch of midi software to create midi files as well.

  33. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  34. A: Mixing engineers are my inspiration. I learn so much just watching them work.

  35. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  36. A: I write bass parts and record them for delivery via online clouds.
